Rajini’s Kabali movie has got a flying start at the box office worldwide 22nd July 2016. Kabala Tamil version movie has done an approximate collection of Rs. 21.5 crore, in so doing breaking all the opening day business records of Kollywood films in Tamil Nadu state.
Rajinikath’s new movie has beaten the first day box office collection record of Ajith’s “Vedalam”, this movie had earned Rs. 15.5 crore rupees on its opening day last Diwali in 2015. The Rajinikanth movie has been released in over 550 screens in Tamil Nadu, only in Chennai it screened 120 theatres, no other movie reeling on 22nd July in capital city of Tamil Nadu.

Movie producer is yet to reveal the complete opening day numbers but he predicts the movie to have collected over Rs. 105 crore on the opening day in all over the world.

Kabali star power has worked big time as the multilingual movie has registered above 90 percent on an avg, tenancies in the key centres, thus doing a record business worldwide on the opening day on 2nd.
Movie was released in over 4500 theatres worldwide in three Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions. The advance booking for tickets in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and some foreign countries was met with huge achievement compare to any other movie in India, implying that the film will witness an earth shattering business at the box office on the 1st day of kabali.

Movie distributor and exhibitors are hoping that the movie will have a better word of mouth and the family audience turnout will be good in the days to come, meanwhile, “Kabali” has opened to mixed reviews, the next few days will be crucial for the film’s success at the box office.
